After breakfast our tour begins by crossing the Nile River to the West Bank. You’ll visit the necropolis of the ancient city of Thebes. Arriving at the Valley of the Kings, you will have a brief stop at the visitors center. Guides are not permitted inside the tombs, but will tell you what to look for inside the elaborately decorated rooms. Leaving the Valley of the Kings, you will visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Queen Hatshepsut was the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne. There is free time to explore at your leisure as you wander the courtyards and admire the intricate hieroglyphic decorations.
Returning to Luxor there will be a brief stop at the Colossi of Memnon, which marks the funerary temple of Amenhotep III. In addition you will visit an alabaster factory and purchase genuine items if you wish.

EAST BANK KARNAK and LUXOR TEMPLES Approx 3hrs from usd95 book now
Walk along the Avenue of Sphinx to enter the complex. The deeper you go into the complex, the further back in time you travel, with the oldest ruins dating back over 3000 years. It’s not hard to be overwhelmed by the 134 columns as you walk through the Great Court into the Hypostle Hall. You will have additional free time to explore at leisure. Continue to Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Temple of Karnak by a two kilometre Avenue of Sphinx.
Find out how Alexander the Great wrote himself into Luxor Temples history and see one of the original pair of obelisk, the second of which now stands on the place de la Concorde in Paris.

Away from the crowds of the peaceful glow of dawn, your sunrise flight promises to be a highlight of your visit.
Following a briefing, you will rise into the still dark-sky. The tranquility and beauty of the early-morning sunrise over the East Bank, illuminating the city of Luxor and surrounding mountains is truly amazing. You will see Karnak Temple greeting the morning sun, while adjacent in the west there’s the magnificent Hatshepsut Temple. You’ll see the Valley of the Queens as it rests peacefully in the mountains.
A support van and your landing crew will follow the flight and be there to meet you upon landing. Your hot-air balloon flight will last approximately 45 min and you’ll be back at your hotel or cruise ship in time for breakfast and other morning tours.

Horse Riding Adventure - West Bank Rides from 1 - 5 hrs from usd45 book now
We offer horseback rides from 1 - 5 hours through the local countryside, farmland and villages. Our shorter rides (1 - 2 hrs) will take you through the serene sugar cane and banana fields and through the local villages where you will see local woman making bread and farmers working the land. These rides will also take you along the banks of the Nile. Longer rides (3 - 5hrs) will take you through the villages and up into the desert. Visiting the Christian Monastery, the Temple of Medinet Habu or Hatshepsut.

SOUND and LIGHT SHOW- KARNAK TEMPLE from usd75 book now
A truly enjoyable evening Egyptian style! The show begins as you walk through into the Great Court. A voice narrates the history of Upper Egypt and the New Kingdom as the various additions left by rulers such as King Tutankhamun, Ramses II and Queen Hatshepsut boom out over the open court. The second part of the show finds you overlooking the Sacred Lake.
After the show your guide/driver will meet you at the gates of the complex to escort you back to your hotel.
